Buchart Horn Managing DC German Embassy Project - 05/05/2009

Buchart Horn's Germany office is serving as Project Controller/Project Manager for the renovation of the German Embassy in Washington, DC. Three buildings in the Embassy Complex: The Chancery, the Duplex House and the Embassy House encompass 140,000 square feet that will be completely renovated. The client for this project is the Federal Republic of Germany’s federal construction agency.

Buchart Horn, Germany has been providing design/build services for upgrades to housing and security at a list of United States Embassies and Consulates in Luxembourg, Bratislava, Slovakia, London, Hague, Munich, Hamburg and Strasburg.

The firm has also been providing construction management and quality assurance services for the new shopping and recreation center at Ramstein Air Base in Kaiserslautern, Germany, which is the world’s largest Defense Department project..
