Located at the Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant, Buchart-Horn performed construction phase services for two of the largest egg-shaped sewage sludge digesters in the Western Hemisphere. The three-million gallon (11,355 cubic meter) anaerobic tanks are similar to designs now common in Western Europe.
